tldr: The app collects nothing. No accounts, no tracking, no ads. The website has an optional email signup and basic aggregate traffic reporting through Cloudflare.
Pac Math is a free mental math game for kids, available at pacmath.lol. It is an independent app with no corporate parent or data-sharing partners.
None. The Pac Math app does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no user profiles, and no analytics SDKs in the app.
The app saves a small amount of gameplay data locally on your device to make the game work. This includes:
This data never leaves your device. It is not synced, uploaded, or backed up to any server we operate. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Pac Math uses your device's microphone and Apple's built-in speech recognition so kids can say their answers out loud instead of typing them. The app will ask for your permission before accessing the microphone.
Speech is processed on-device by Apple's speech recognition framework. No audio is recorded, stored, or sent to our servers. We do not have servers.
The Pac Math app uses zero third-party analytics or advertising services. No Firebase, no Mixpanel, no ad SDKs, no crash reporting tools, and no social media integrations. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks.
The pacmath.lol website has an optional email signup form so we can let you know when new updates ship. This form is powered by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores only the email address you provide. Signup is opt-in, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
This is the only place you can intentionally submit personal information to us, and it lives on the website — not in the app.
The pacmath.lol website is served through Cloudflare, which may provide basic aggregate website traffic reporting such as visits and page views. We use this only to understand overall website traffic. We do not use Google Analytics, and this does not change the app's privacy posture.
Pac Math is designed to be used by children. The app itself collects no personal information, contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no links to social media, and no way to communicate with other users. The optional website email signup is intended for parents, not children.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations by simply not collecting data in the first place.
Pac Math works entirely offline. The app does not require or use an internet connection to function. No data is transmitted over the network.
If we ever change how the app or website handles data, we will update this page. The app's privacy model is intentionally simple, and we'll keep this page current if anything changes.
